Southern Eagle is committed to promoting a culture of responsible alcohol consumption. We take direct responsibility through raising awareness, promoting education, and responsible behavior in the community.

We have a team approach to responsibility, which involves teachers, parents, community organizations, law enforcement officials, and retailers. Over the years we have partnered with many organizations to promote the message of Responsibility Matters. Below are some of the programs we participate in:

OPERATION ID

To further strengthen our commitment to being part of the solution to underage drinking, Anheuser-Busch and its distributors offer retailers training and a variety of materials that help them check and verify valid IDs. These materials include pocket-size "We ID Cards" that list tips on how to spot fake IDs; driver license booklets that feature photos of valid driver licenses from all 50 states and the Canadian provinces. TIPS training also includes techniques for checking and identifying valid IDs.

SPEAKERS BUREAU

The members of the Consumer Awareness & Education Speakers Bureau bring a message of responsibility and respect for the law to students around the nation, with the support of local wholesalers. If you are interested in hosting a speaker, please conctact contact Southern Eagle at 843-388-6800.

GOOD SPORT

Good Sport is a communications, training and fan management program designed to help stadium operators, team owners and concessionaires promote a positive crowd environment. The program can be adapted to street festivals, music concerts and other special events that attract large crowds. Good Sport has been used to develop successful fan-responsibility and event-management programs for international sporting events, including the Olympics and the World Cup games. Local partners that have implemented the Good Sport program include: The North Charleston Coliseum, home of the Stingrays, and Joe Riley Stadium, home of the Riverdogs.
